Friendship Academy is in its pilot year as a K-5 Category One, community engaged, micro-school in Columbia, TN. Every child deserves access to an excellent education, and through Tennessee’s Education Freedom Scholarships, low-income families will have the opportunity to choose a private school that supports both students and their families.

By next year, we expect nearly 70% of our students will be scholarship recipients, opening the door to stability and long-term success. With the community already engaged in meaningful ways, Friendship Academy is working to change how schools support families facing housing insecurity. By combining classical education with wraparound family support, we are building a model that helps children thrive and families grow stronger together.
